The Leo Club Objectives
To provide the youth of the world with an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community.
LEOs are young people in the age group from 12 years to 28 years of age.
The LEO club has its own President, Secretary and Treasurer and helps teach young people the act of charity.
They organise their own events and make decisions as to the recipients of the funds they raise. At present the LEO Cubs in Mallorca are school based and the LEOS meet under the supervision of an appointed teacher as liaison.
When a young person joins a LEO club they join a worldwide organisation with more than 6,500 clubs in over 400 countries and if and when they leave school to study or live abroad they have the backup of the LEOs in that country.
The relief of having many friends in a strange country the minute they arrive, is a relief to the youths and their parents.
